Return Policy

Avocado On Rye diligently inspects all items before shipping therefore damaged merchandise is very unlikely. All returned items will be inspected  for signs of wear, or any other things listed, and in the event the item does not match the original condition the buyer will not receive a store credit 

Please email care@avocadoonrye.com about returning your items for EXCHANGE OR STORE CREDIT within 10 days from the date the order was received. Once the request is received and approved you will be provided a return address to return your item (s). DO NOT SHIP THE ITEM (S) TO ANY ADDRESS OTHER THAN THE  ONE THAT WILL BE PROVIDED TO YOU.  The customer is 100 % responsible for return shipping costs.

Returns are processed within 5-7 days after your items(s) are received at our facility.

Avocado On Rye does not provide prepaid labels; you will be responsible  for covering the shipping costs to return

 All returns are refunded VIA E-GIFT CARD ONLY:

  • Items must be returned in original packaging, unwashed, unworn, unaltered, and with original tags attached
  • Items must be free of odor, stains, makeup, or wear
  • Items purchased during a sale period, using any discount code or store credit ARE FINAL SALE AND NON-RETURNABLE

  • THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE NON- RETURNABLE WITH NO EXCEPTIONS:

  • Swimwear
  • Bodysuits
  • White items
  • Undergarments / Shapewear
  • Accessories / Jewelry
  • Shoes
  • Sets Sold with Bodysuits or Undergarments
  • Leggings, Stretch pants, Biker Pants

  • Returned to Sender and Refused Packages

    Packages are usually returned to sender or refused when:

  • An address is invalid or missing information
  • The courier is unable to deliver your package
  •  The customer refuses the order at the time of delivery. Returned to sender or refused packages will be restocked and you will be issued a store credit in the form of an eGiftcard minus the initial shipping charge. We are unable to replace or reship in these instances as all returned shipments are processed by our Returns Department. Instead, Please use the eGiftcard to place a new order using the correct address. Keep in mind that we do not guarantee your items will be in -stock at the time of your reorder 

  • Reserved Rights Regarding Returns

    Avocado on Rye reserves the right to solely define and limit, refuse, and/ or reject returns from customers at any time due to:


    • An irregular or excessive returns history 
    • Potential fraudulent or criminal activity
    • An irregular or excessive return history involving altered, worn, damaged, or missing items, OR items returned that are not in compliance with the return policy

    Order Cancellations

    Once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled. Discount codes cannot be manually applied to an order. Please read all descriptions and check your order before submitting.


    Store Credit

    Store credit in the form of an Avacodao on Rye E-GIFT will be issued for your return item(s) once your package is received and processed at our facility, please allow 5-7 business days for our Returns Department to process your return once delivered. Your E-GIFT card covers the purchase price of each item and tax if applicable. Avocado on Rye does not issue store credit for the original shipping charges.


    Final Sale Items

    All items purchased during a sale period or using any discount code are considered final sale and cannot be returned for store credit or exchange. Final sale items include but are not limited to: 

  • Swimwear
  • Bodysuits
  • White items
  • Undergarments / Shapewear
  • Accessories 
  • Shoes
  • Sets Sold with Bodysuits or Undergarments

  • Excessive Returns and Wardrobing 

    Avocado on Rye’s Customer Fraud Department handles situations in which a customer’s return history may be indicative of fraudulent history. In these situations, the Customer Fraud Department will reach out to discuss the situation to work with you or either resolve the issue or determine if we need to refuse service going forward. 


    Defective, Incorrect or Missing Items

    Upon receiving your order, please check the delivered items. Should you receive an item(s) that is defective, incorrect or an item is missing, please email care@avocadoonrye.com.


    Shipping Advice

    If returning by mail, we suggest using USPS Flat Rate Shipping for convenience. You will be responsible for shipping costs to return item(s) and all shipping costs must be prepaid. Based on the shipping method, your return package may take several days to reach our Returns Department. For your records, maintain your proof of postage and ship your return along with a tracking number as we are not liable for return packages that are lost or stolen in transit. Without proof of receipt and delivery, Avocado on Rye will not issue store credit for your return. However, if a return is required as a result of Avocado on Rye’s errors, we sincerely apologize and will happily accept your unworn return within 30 days of the delivery date.
